How do I take apart Bose headphones?

How do I take apart Bose QuietComfort Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones? The right speaker is dead, but when I lightly push it in, it works again, but then when I let go, it’s dead again. Any ideas as to how I can fix it or at least take it apart?
Well I can tell you how to take apart Koss, Beyerdynamic, Fostex, Sennheiser and other quality headphones but I suspect that Bose are press fitted together at the factory and they can not be disassembled without causing at least some damage. Try prying at the seams with a thin tipped screw driver. Sorry. Their stuff is overpriced and cheaply made. Buy Other Sound Equipment.

Bose is manufactured with the most efficient, cheap process – and will be evident when you open it up – if you can!
You’ll find lots of parts – especially the outer shell – glued together… so you’d have to break the seal and to put it back together, you’ll need some CrAzY glue or a hot Glue gun.
I’d suggest calling Bose first and see how much they’d charge to fix these. They may just tell you to buy a new pair from them for a discount – hope it’s a BIGGY!@Discount!!!
I had their QC15′s for a few weeks and as they are really good for Noise Cancelling, they are REALLY expensive @ $350, and they gave me a headache cuz of its NC feature [that cannot be turned off] and it’s sharp sounding DSP effects.
Yep, Bose is the Best $$ can buy though…
regardless of how they are made, it sounds the best!!! End of story!!! DON’T let anyone tell you different! JK
