How do I wear Bose in ear headphones?

How do I wear these Bose in ear headphones!?!?! I’ve been trying to figure out for 3 hours…I think I found out but the cord is actually facing up almost past my ear, rather then going straight down like normal in ear headphones.. Is this right?

Stick the squishy things in.
But really, some people (like me) can’t wear that kind of earbuds cos their ears are too small. Check.
ON that kind the cord might go up. Just where it how its comfy.
