ipod classic for music or bose headphones ?

for my birthday, i have an option to get either an ipod classic 120gig, or some bose headphones (not in ear, but the on ear ones.)
now this is pretty much impossible to me because
-my current mp3 player only holds 8gb, i need more space to carry my music!!
-but i have wanted bose headphones for ever, since the sound quality is amazing.
damn! so what is the better choice?
actually, the more expensive bose headphones cost more than the ipod classic.
iPod. u can buy the headphones urself they cost less
